Our Mission & Vision
At the Rural Resilience Project, we envision rural communities where people have the support, resources, and expertise they need to navigate complex systems, overcome barriers, and build resilient futures.
Our work is centered on three priorities: Community Capacity, Environmental Resilience, and Equitable Investment. Through these areas, RRP provides technical assistance, system navigation, regulatory and environmental compliance support, education, project development, and connections to legal and other professional services.
We focus on practical, community-based solutions that strengthen rural economies, improve environmental resilience, and expand access to resources and opportunities that can be difficult to reach in rural areas.
Our work prioritizes people, small businesses, and communities historically impacted by the War on Drugs, systemic disinvestment, and limited access to services. We believe investing in their capacity, land, livelihoods, and communities creates lasting rural resilience.
