Reentry Roadmap: Where to Start After System Involvement

Reentering the community or navigating life after system involvement can mean dealing with multiple systems, requirements, and barriers at once. This webinar provides a practical roadmap for identifying what to address first and how to move forward one step at a time.

Participants will learn how to prioritize immediate needs, obtain essential documents such as identification and Social Security cards, understand court or supervision requirements, and develop a manageable action plan. The webinar also covers common barriers to housing, employment, healthcare, benefits, and legal services; how system navigation and case management can help; and where to find resources in Mendocino County.

The webinar also explores how existing skills can translate into employment, trades, environmental work, and small-business opportunities. Participants will leave with practical next steps and information about system navigation, legal support connections, job-readiness pathways, and other resources available through the Rural Resilience Project.
